The relative role of the conveyor's goods and friction

The inner friction angle of the flexible conveyor is also called the angle of repose. It is the angle naturally formed by the cone surface and the horizontal plane when the loose object is stacked into a cone. The internal friction angle decreases as the particle size increases, and increases as the humidity of the loose material increases. However, when the humidity increases to a certain limit, the internal friction angle decreases. The internal friction angle of the conveyed material is divided into static and dynamic, and the internal friction angle of the loose material is different.

The outer friction angle of the conveyor is also called the friction coefficient. It usually refers to the static friction coefficient, which is the friction angle between the loose object and the surface of various materials. The dynamic friction coefficient is generally 70% and 80% of the static friction coefficient.

The flexible conveyor loose material consists of solid particles, and its own particles have their own weight and thus have fluidity. The horizontal side pressure of the loose material is: horizontal direction pressure = vertical direction pressure side pressure coefficient. For water, the side pressure coefficient = 1; for loose materials, 0 < side pressure coefficient <1. The relationship between the lateral pressure coefficient (K) and the internal friction angle is: the lateral pressure coefficient (K) = square of tan (45°-φ/2);

The conveyor knows that the smaller the internal friction angle, the larger the % value, that is, the greater the fluidity of the material. The greater the cohesiveness of the material, the smaller the side pressure coefficient. Therefore, the vertical round tube belt conveyor is based on this side pressure value without the need to apply external pressure.
